As search giant Google(GOOG) wraps up the deal to acquire Motorola Mobility(MMI), analysts are in a frenzy trying to decide if it's the right or wrong move, and how exactly it will impact the company and the industry. The news splash, however, wasn't enough to get people's minds off their economic worries. The market continues to teeter and head downward, much to the displeasure of media and advertising agencies. Unfortunately, the U.S. market is looking more like a broken promise, as media stocks slid 5.4% on Thursday with the release of weak economic data.
