Sarah Fay CEO Carat and Isobar U.S. Sarah Fay is CEO of Carat, the fully-integrated, consumer-centric, media and marketing services agency. Carat reinvented the agency model in 2007 after merging digital marketing powerhouse Carat Fusion with leading diversified media agency Carat USA. She also serves as CEO for the U.S. operations of Isobar, part of Aegis Media’s global digital marketing agency network, managing the growth and integration strategies for Molecular, iProspect, Freestyle Interactive and Ammo Marketing. Carat and Isobar clients include some of the world’s most well-known brands, such as Adidas, Alberto-Culver, AOL, P&G, Electronic Arts, Revlon, Philips, Pernod Ricard and Radio Shack. A 20-year veteran of the media services business and a vanguard on media integration, Sarah joined Carat in 1998 as the Managing Director of Carat Business and Technology and was later charged with launching Carat Interactive in 2001, building the agency into one of the top full service digital marketing agencies by 2003 (later became Carat Fusion). Sarah was one of B2B Magazine’s Top 100 Business Marketing Influencers in 2002, 2003 and 2004 and recently was named a “Future Legend” by the Ad Club.
Jack Haber Vice President, Global Advertising and eBusiness Colgate-Palmolive Company Jack leads all of Colgate’s advertising and eBusiness efforts globally and is responsible for integrating online Internet marketing fully within Colgate’s Integrated Marketing Communications strategy. Previously, Jack was Vice President, eBusiness where he led all of Colgate’s efforts in using the Internet to drive business results, change the way the company connects with consumers and expand Colgate’s use of Internet and Intranet technologies. Jack joined Colgate in 1981 in Corporate New Ventures & Acquisitions. He then progressed through a number of positions with increasing responsibility in Colgate U.S. in Oral Care, Personal Care and New Products. Prior to joining Colgate, Jack spent six years in advertising, working at FCB Advertising and at Ted Bates Advertising.
Albie Hecht CEO Worldwide Biggies Albie is the former President of Nickelodeon Entertainment and Spike TV who oversaw the development and production of SpongeBob SquarePants, Dora the Explorer, Blue’s Clues, and live-action hit All That at Nickelodeon. He built the Nick Digital Studio as well as the first new animation studio in Los Angeles in 35 years. He also co-created Nickelodeon’s Kids Choice Awards as the founding principal and executive producer for Chauncey Street Productions. Hecht produced some of Paramount’s biggest films of the last five years, most recently, Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events, which received four Academy Award nominations, and The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie. Hecht was nominated for an Oscar as the producer of Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius, which was also a Golden Globe Nominee, and he was the executive producer of The Rugrats Movie, which was the first non-Disney animated feature to cross the hundred million dollar mark. Hecht is responsible for the development and launch of Biggies new multi-platform hit the Naked Brothers Band.
Dina Kaplan Co-Founder and COO blip.tv Dina Kaplan is the co-founder and COO of blip.tv, responsible for overseeing all business operations for the company, including media partnerships, advertising and sponsorship deals, distribution deals, PR, marketing and investor relations.
Blip.tv is an online television network featuring and promoting the best shows on the Web. Prior to co-founding blip.tv, Dina was an on-air local television news reporter, where she won an Emmy and numerous Associated Press awards. Dina worked as an associate producer for MTV News and prior to that as the director of research for the White House Counsel. Dina is a member of the Producers Guild of America; on the Board of the Socrates Program at the Aspen Institute; on the National Board of Wesleyan University; on the Advisory Board of the Women's Media Center and of WeLoveBeauty.com. She is the founder of the New York City Founders Club. Dina also believes the start-up community in New York City should rise up and take over the entrepreneurs in Silicon Valley, whom she suspects have too much hubris.
Shane Steele Digital Media and Marketing Consultant Former Director of Emerging Media and Online Advertising, Coca-Cola Ms. Steele is a marketing and digital media consultant focused on developing and executing marketing, sales, product, and audience development strategies for new media and technology startups. Prior to launching her consulting practice, she was the Director of Emerging Media & Online Advertising at Coca-Cola where she oversaw interactive marketing initiatives for Coca-Cola North America. Her team's responsibilities included interactive strategy, digital media and advertising, branded entertainment, mobile, gaming, web site development, and online promotions. Steele was responsible for evaluating new technology and media partners in key areas such as social media, mobile, and advanced video platforms. Prior to joining Coca-Cola, Steele worked on the agency side, leading clients through development and execution of their online advertising and web initiatives. Steele began her career as a consultant at Accenture and Sapient, where she was responsible for leading large scale web strategy and development initiatives for Fortune 500 clients. Steele received her bachelors in Psychology from Cornell University and now resides in Los Angeles, CA.
