ABOUT JACK

 

Jack Myers is the nation’s leading Media Ecologist and an expert on transformative innovation, leadership and business growth. As a collaborator, partner or employee, he has developed, tested and implemented a dozen innovative business models within companies as diverse as General Motors, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Aegis Group, ABC Radio, CBS-TV, Turner and AT&T. His behind-the-scenes influence in media, advertising and marketing has significantly contributed to the growth and success of more than 200 companies. Jack is the founder of MediaVillage, where the media and advertising industry gathers online for transformative thought-leadership, knowledge, innovation and inspiration. As a futurist, Jack is a sought-after speaker on the technology-led transformation of business, culture, society and relationships. His 2016 book and TEDWomen Talk on The Future of Men anticipated the #MeToo movement and shift in gender politics. He is an Academy and Emmy Award nominee for Best Documentary Feature, author of four books on the intersection of culture and business, and executive producer of GE Focus Forward Films, which was the winner of the Tribeca Film Festival Disruption Award. His honors also include the George Foster Peabody Award, International Book Awards for Youth Issues and Women’s Issues, and a World Music Award. His non-profit Jacaronda Foundation underwrites and supports industry diversity and inclusion initiatives under the Jack Myers KnowledgeExchange brand. Jack has a Masters Degree in Media Ecology from New York University, where he studied with Dr. Neil Postman. He is a graduate of the S.I.
